How to use the scientific calculator and examples

1. Enter numbers

Click the number buttons (0-9) to enter numbers.

Example: To enter the number 45, press 4 → 5 in order.

2. Operation symbols

You can perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using the +, -, ×, and ÷ buttons.

Example: To calculate 45 + 15, press 4 → 5 → + → 1 → 5 → =. The result is 60.

3. Trigonometric functions

When you press the sin, cos, and tan buttons, parentheses will automatically open, and you can enter the angle and calculate it. The angle mode can be set with the Rad or Deg buttons.

Example: To calculate sin(30°), press Deg → sin → 3 → 0 → ) → =. The result is approximately 0.5.

4. Using Parentheses

Use ( and ) to set precedence in complex calculations. You can also use parentheses when entering trigonometric functions or other formulas.

Example: To calculate (3 + 5) × 2, press ( → 3 → + → 5 → ) → × → 2 → =. The result is 16.

5. Squares and Square Roots

You can use the √ button to calculate square roots, and the x² button to calculate square values.

Example: To calculate 7², press 7 → x². The result is 49.

6. Factorial

Calculate factorial by pressing the n! button.

Example: To calculate 5!, press 5 → n!. The result is 120.

7. Check Results

Click the = button to check the result of the formula you entered.

Example: To calculate 10 ÷ 2, press 1 → 0 → ÷ → 2 → =. The result is 5.

8. Complex Calculations

You can perform complex calculations by combining trigonometry functions, parentheses, and arithmetic operations.

Example: To calculate sin(45°) + cos(30°), press Deg → sin → 4 → 5 → ) → + → cos → 3 → 0 → ) → =. The result is approximately 1.366.

9. Erase and Reset

Erase individual letters with the ⌫ button, and reset the calculator with the C button.

Example: To erase a formula you entered incorrectly, press the ⌫ button repeatedly. To reset the entire formula, press the C button.
